Inspired by Stella McCartney's winter collection, I've been thinking about polka dots! Whether you where a dress filled with them or you and a touch of polka dots to your wardrobe .... or maybe even your lips. I think it's a must to buy a piece or two for your fall wardrobe.

So I just got this book... and let me preface this by saying I have only started the first chapter... It's a lot harder to read a book with a lil person running around. But I'm really excited about this book. For some people this book would be silly to read, they have happiness built in them, but for me it's something I need to work on (among many other things).  In the first few pages she talks about putting yourself, along with your marriage or relationship at the top of the list. A quote "my own personal happiness, nourished by the time I take for myself, benefits my children. I've read the scientific studies that prove this... So out with the gilt, and in with the joy." This is something hard for me to apply but I'm excited to try, and the more I read the more I agree, because I believe you learn from example. She introduces 10 key steps to help you set the stage for your children's happiness.  And I also recommend this to read while pregnant... you can never start to early. You can get this on Amazon

Alexa Chung -a style icon-

She has unbelievable style, and it is just effortless... well it looks effortless. Okay well she used to model so clothes hang well on her, but she has written for British Vogue and and been a TV Host (It's on with Alexia Chung on MTV). She is a fashion icon, Mulberry a designer handbag line, named one of their purses after her, she has created a line for Madewell and Anna Wintour has described her as "a phenomenon". All those things aside she has great style and I love looking at what she wears, so I can try and incorporated pieces of it in my style. Damn those Brits, they are always steps ahead... I secretly love them, clearly. She has an upcoming show she will be hosting call Thrift America on PBS, which will teach Americans how sift through thrift shops like she does... I'm excited!

The Updated Bouncer...Finally!

This is the Mamaroo Bouncer! This the newest technology for a bouncer... It moves like us mom's, its not just a rocker or a vibrating seat it bounces up and down and sways from side to side, they studied how us mom's move and they tried to imitated it the best they could. You can speed up or down the motions and you can also hook your Ipod up to it or use some of their built-in soothing sounds! My lil man's too big for this but I'll hope to get one for the next one and you should too at Giggle or  Mamaroo

Some news for your skin!

Okay! These are some new products I'm loving!

 I first found out about Colbert MD (the first 3 products) through Instyle, they tracked down Catherine Middleton's skin secret and this is it! She first found out about it after visiting Sienna Miller in her dressing room at a play, and now people have been asking for "the princess serum". Which was the first product I purchased and they sent an eye cream sampler and I absolutely loved it and order it along with the Facial disc's that I used for the first time tonight and LOVE. I hope you check it out - I ordered it online, they seem to be only in NY.

The Estee Lauder products, are new to me - but I'm really loving them. Especially the Eye cooling cream, once you apply the cream with the applicator their is a total cooling effect! It's awesome and it gives off a highlighting quality along with the face cream.  You can get this at your nearest department store that carries Estee Lauder.

And last but not least, the Nickel cream which I found on Amazon for about $27 is amazing. You get such a wake-up call from this cream, good for long nights...mom's! It's a natural wheat and soybean based product and well it's got all sorts of good stuff to help plump your under eyes, and prevent circles and bags! I love these products and you should try them! 

loving Pastels...

Even though I'm still loving the bright, color blocking this season, it's fun to mix it up with some pastels. You can either wear a full outfit of pastels, or spice up whatever your wearing with a hint of pastel. I'm also loving the pastel hair pieces...

Another Art Site

So this is another art website, that I have recently found that I love! I think these art websites are great because having kids you don't always get to go to art show's or if you take them with you, this is the result! ha, well this is my little one at my sister, who is an amazing photographer, Cheyenne's art show also in the art show another favorite photographer of mine Kevin Zacher (pictures below). Exhibition A is a members-only website (anyone can join), it sells exclusive editions of artwork by top contemporary artist, but they work with the artist to create editions of their work that you can afford. I bought the "castles in the sky" the skeleton headdress print, it's beautiful. If you like art you should check this website out!
