Headboards

I just recently updated my bedroom and I wanted just a headboard because I was going to put a bench at the foot of the bed and found out a lot of places didn't have just head boards and especially in California King size, so I kept searching and found these great headboards at JCPenny's, the designs are clean and simple and some have cute studs on the edge. They also have a cute one for the kiddo's that you can monogram their name on. The prices go from $189-$599, which seems pretty good. I ordered one and am really happy with it.

shoes, bags and more oh my!

With summer coming up it's always fun to wear some bright colors... You don't have to go all out with the whole color blocking thing, but some of these finds can make a simple outfit pop! It's also nice that these are fun and colorful BUT they're flats, so for us mom's that have to chase little kids around they're perfect. Lori's has everything -bags, shoes, and jewelry.

This website has everything- drawings, paintings, and photos, (my favorite) but the awesome thing about this site is they sell these pieces from $20- $5000 depending on the size.  If you get a reasonable size you get a good price. good find

These bright color dresses are Naven a pretty pricey dress $335... but I found this black dress that looks exactly like it that only cost $48 at Nastygal. Its a super cute little black dress (LBD) that every girl needs... at that price.

Skirts

I love this simple look - of course I love the mint Jil Sander maxi skirt, but for some of us that would like something a little more affordable you can find these at Topshop in a few different bright colors and you can pair it with a simple white shirt or go with another trend and try color blocking.

This is my first post, and I'm nervous...   My love and passion are my husband and son, but what I've always loved is fashion, since I was young. I recently became a mom, which is the most important job in the world, it can be hard some days but so AWESOME others. And I have starting really getting into design and cooking since I met my husband. This blog is to just share my good finds that I have found and will find along the way. enjoy.

The New Hair Color

This style is great for me, I'm a new mom and have little time to go to a salon.  So when this look became popular - it seemed right up my alley. It's super fashionable yet so practical.

summer shoes

I just picked some of these up for my little man. They are so good for summer, especially when your kids not old enough to keep flip flops on. But also some good news is they have some for mom and dad.  I think they are a cooler version of the crocks, with some great colors and styles.  You can pick some up at Nordstroms or online at Native.

new cookbook

This is a new cookbook I've purchased, that has great recipes with great tips. I will be making dinner from one of the recipes tonight! You can find it on Amazon.
