Here we go, let's get ready for summer weddings, parties and what not.  There is a website called Rent the Runway that let's you shop runway dresses, and accessories.  You pick out the dates you want to rent them, then you choose a size and you get to pick a back up size for free, well you can also order a second style for $25. Then the day after your event you just drop the dress/ accessories in the pre-paid envelope and its that easy to wear a really nice dress to a nice occasion and not pay for something you might only wear once.

Pretty Simple Recipe

PAN-SEARED STEAK WITH ONION AND WORCESTERSHIRE.

3 Tablespoons veggie oil

1 1/2-pound flank, sirloin, or skirt steak

Coarse salt and ground pepper

1 medium onion, halved and thinly sliced 

1 1/2 Tablespoons Worcestershire sauce 

1 Tablespoon butter

1/4 cup chopped parsley

-In a large skilllet over medium-high, heat a tablespoon veggie oil. Season a steak with salt and pepper, then cook until dark brown crusty, 3 to 5 minutes per side fro medium rare (depending on thickness)

-While steak rests, wipe the pan clean and heat 2 Tablespoons veggie oil over medium high. Add onion, and cook until tender. Add Worcestershire sauce and Tablespoon butter and toss to coat. Thinly slice the steak across the grain and top with chopped parsley. 

30-MINUTE BAKED POTATO

4 medium potatoes, scrubbed and dried

Butter, for serving

Salt and Pepper, for serving

- Adjust an oven rack to the middle position and heat oven to 450 degrees. Poke a few holes in each potato and microwave the potatoes on high until slightly soft to the touch, 6 to 12 minutes, turning them over halfway through. 

- Carefully transfer the potatoes to oven and cook directly on the hot oven rack until a skewer glides easily through the flesh, about 20 minutes.

-Remove the potatoes from the oven and make an X on top of the potato with a fork. Then press in at the ends of each potato to push the flesh up and out. Serve Immediately with butter, salt and pepper, and whatever else you like on you tater. 

-that's it, super easy and good for a steak a potato night.

Mother. The name of my new favorite jeans. The masterminds behind the Mother brand was formerly the head of design at 7 for all mankind and he teamed up with the President of sales at Citizens of Humanity. Good team .. no... ha. The fit is great, they have a good amount of stretch to them, which we all love and they have great styles! They are a little pricey, but I feel that we all wear jean sooo much that these might be worth it. You can get them a few different places - Shopstyle is a good place to look and compare online or you can check them out at your local Nordstroms or Madisons.

I found this website when I was getting my nursery ready for my little guy and I ended up getting a piece, I think it's good for kids or adults, and they have great colors, different sizes, patterns, animals. Oh my!

Okay! Let's gather ourselves.... wait for it.... you can now shop H&M and Zara ONLINE. Yep for us mom's it's awesome this online shopping thing... just be careful of the over shopping! haha. This is a new or new to me website Suddenlee who claims to have reinvented online shopping... you can shop at several different stores and pay a single shipping fee for next day delivery in a single box! WHAT! Yay - you gots to check it out... so new to me I haven't even tried it yet... until now.. good luck ;) 

-Now that I've checked it out, it is to good to be true... they don't ship to the west coast yet. Bummer I'll let you know when that changes, have fun shopping all you in the East

I live by the beach so these really popped out to me. Cynthia Rowley hooked up with Roxy and made these super cute, stylish wetsuits. I like them because they make you look girly, instead of looking real dorky in the normal wetsuits... ha! - you can check them out at Cynthia Rowley.

Headboards

I just recently updated my bedroom and I wanted just a headboard because I was going to put a bench at the foot of the bed and found out a lot of places didn't have just head boards and especially in California King size, so I kept searching and found these great headboards at JCPenny's, the designs are clean and simple and some have cute studs on the edge. They also have a cute one for the kiddo's that you can monogram their name on. The prices go from $189-$599, which seems pretty good. I ordered one and am really happy with it.

shoes, bags and more oh my!

With summer coming up it's always fun to wear some bright colors... You don't have to go all out with the whole color blocking thing, but some of these finds can make a simple outfit pop! It's also nice that these are fun and colorful BUT they're flats, so for us mom's that have to chase little kids around they're perfect. Lori's has everything -bags, shoes, and jewelry.

This website has everything- drawings, paintings, and photos, (my favorite) but the awesome thing about this site is they sell these pieces from $20- $5000 depending on the size.  If you get a reasonable size you get a good price. good find

These bright color dresses are Naven a pretty pricey dress $335... but I found this black dress that looks exactly like it that only cost $48 at Nastygal. Its a super cute little black dress (LBD) that every girl needs... at that price.
